Followup from the Learn about the Blue Hills talk
Hello,
BSC residents are fortunate to live so close to The Blue Hills Reservation, over 7000 acres where you can hike, bike, fish, ski, rock climb, etc. John Herrell, volunteer coordinator and Jen Klein, Director of the THE FRIENDS OF THE BLUE HILLS came to Baker Square to speak here last month.
The gathering was well attended, and several residents are interested in developing a relationship between Baker Square residents and The Friends of the Blue Hills. John sent this follow up email with links for joining this organization, and to explore volunteer opportunities. There is also an attachment with PDFs of five accessible hikes.
Stay Tuned for further opportunities. Questions in the meantime should be directed to Sharon Siwiec @ dlrow@comcast.net

Subject: Thank You
Hi Sharon,
I wanted to thank you for inviting Jen and I on Thursday night to Baker’s Square to introduce people to the Friends of the Blue Hills! I hope people learned something new and are excited to get out to the Blue Hills in the near future, whether it’s for hiking, volunteering, or any other recreation.
We had a great time meeting everyone and talking about the Friends of the Blue Hills. If you ever want to have us do another presentation, please let us know. We would be happy to come back.
Two links and a PDF that I wanted to share with you are below:
